David Luiz named who convinced him to stay at chelsea

Chelsea center back, David Luiz has revealed that he planned to leave the West London club, if Maurizio Sarri had not convinced him.

According to sky sport reports, The Brazilian expressed that new Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri convinced him to stay at the club, after the departure of Antonio Conte.

Luiz also criticized Antonio Conte’s formation at Stamford bridge, claiming the former manager’s back three defenders limited is playing time.

The new manager as already teach me many things here, luiz said.

I can actually relate Maurizio Sarri’s tactics to my former coach at benfica, they have the same style of football, the Brazilian added.

The new italian manager quickly changed the teams formation after his arrival at Stamford, integrating Luiz back into the team.

Even after lifting the 2016/2017 premier league title with Antonio Conte, Luiz still sees his formation as an old one, which can’t fit into the premier league system.
