While there is rife speculation over the Chelsea managerial job, the top-brass of the club have kept mum over the situation or they are confused about the choice of who will take over from Antonio Conte.
However, Antonio Conte has laid bare his decision to his friends that he will return to his job as the manager of Chelsea, this is according to the Telegraph.

Conte led the Blues to the Premier League conquest in the penultimate season but despite his tactical prowess and touchline melodrama, Chelsea ended the season below the first quartet on the Premier league log, throwing them into the second tier of European football for next season.
The Italian tactician failed to own up to Chelsea’s bad form but instead, he blamed it on the lack of quality signings even though the West London club bolster their squad and it is widely claimed that the board of the club are displeased with him.
Chelsea have been linked with a chunk of managers and so is Conte who was said to be on the radar of Real Madrid as a replacement for Zinedine Zidane. Alas, the Champions league gods have appointed the former manager of Spain Julen Lopetegui’, which means all the top clubs in Europe have no vacancies.
Conte renewed his Chelsea contract only last summer and he has one more year left in the deal – should they sack him, they will pay him about £9 million as severance package, a situation Chelsea are desperately avoiding.

But i feel Conte should be given another chance and the top-brass of the club should get behind him to bring back the glory days for Chelsea.
